“WELCOME!”  We hope this web site helps you get a feel for what Knox United, Ayr is all about.

Today, we are living in a growing and ever-expanding community whose pace becomes more frenetic by the minute.  Daily we are bombarded with demands upon our time and energy and it seems that we have little time to renew our souls and rest our bodies.  That is why we at Knox United, Ayr feel that taking an hour a week to worship is so important.  You may be asking, however, “Isn’t it better for me to wrap myself in a warm blanket and get some hard-earned rest?  Wouldn’t that accomplish the same thing?”  we believe that worship gives us even more than rest  -  it gives us a source of hope, inspiration, comfort and love for every day of the week.

Here at Knox, we believe that God calls us to be a congregation of Christ’s Church in the world.  As such, we will respond to God’s presence as Jesus did, seek human fellowship as He did, help people in need as He did, work to alleviate injustice as He did, and strive for the coming of God’s Kingdom on earth, as He did.

Knox United, Ayr offers an inspiring blend of traditional and contemporary styles of worship, great programs for our children, youth and adults, warm friendship, learning and meaningful service for those who are followers of Jesus and for those seeking to know more about Christianity.

All are welcome at Knox regardless of current faith or Christian denomination.

Just show up!  You’re welcome anytime!
